| Thierry Daniel Henry, born on 17 August 1977 in France is currently Arsenal's all-time record goalscorer. Although born in France, and began playing for European times in Belgium and France, it was his eight years at Arsenal that Henry became a world class player. Unlike many of today's professional footballers, playing was not necessarily Henry's passion from a young age. His skills were clearly visible, leading to him being recruited to a local french club from the age of 7, but he was not as passionate about the sport as expected. |

Henry joined the Monaco team as a youth player from the age of 13, and in time joined the professional league in August 1994. In 1988 he already signed up with Italy's Serie A leading team - Juventus, just for one year, after which he was signed to play in Premier League's famous team - Arsenal. After being signed to Arsenal, he has won two league titles and three FA Cups for the team, playing a huge part of the team's success over the years. During 2001-2002, Henry scored 32 goals in all leagues, and lead his team to win a great deal of Trophies and Cups due to his successes.
