Paul Labile Pogba was born 15 March 1993, in Lagny-sur-Marne, Seine-et-Marne, to Guinean parents. He is a professional French footballer, playing for Premier League club Manchester United FC and the France national team. With two older twin brothers who are also footballers, it seems as if a talent for the game runs in the family. His eldest twin Florentin, plays for French club Saint-Étienne, while Mathias plays for Dutch club Sparta Rotterdam and the Guinean national team. Pogba debuted with Manchester United in 2011 however after the expiry of his contract with the club, he left to join Juventus in 2012. It was at Juventus that he was able to prove himself to the footballing world, winning four consecutive Serie A titles, two Coppa Italia titles and two Supercoppa Italiana titles. Furthermore, Pogba received a plethora of individual awards and achievements such as the Golden Boy award in 2013, the Bravo Award in 2014, and being named by the Guardian as one of the ten most promising young players in Europe. On 8 August 2016, Pogba returned to Manchester United for a world record transfer fee of €105 million (£89.3 million).

Pogba has achieved a vast amount of international success for the French national team, bringing the France under-20 team to victory at the 2013 FIFA U-20 World Cup as the captain of the team, and earning the Best Player award for his performance. He debuted for senior French national team on 22 March 2013, assisting the team in their 3-1 win against Georgia. Pogba scored his first World Cup goal on June 30 2014 against Nigeria, and went on to win the Best Young Player Award for his performance, after reaching the quarter-final.
