The team changed their name from Leicester Fosse to Leicester City in 1919, a few years after their return, being a particularly appropriate time for the name change, when Leicester obtained city status. In 1971, Leicester won against Liverpool when competing for the Charity Shield, and this and winning the League Cup multiple times, established the team as successful and competitive team. Leicester City FC won the Premier League in 2016, being their first title in the 132 year history of the club, gaining a large amount of attention and respect from Leicester City fans, and football fans all around the world. Among their greatest players in achieving this success includes: Kasper Schmeichel, Luis Hernandez, Ben Chilwell, Danny Drinkwater, and Wes Morgan.
